Ellimist TM LLC is a Progressive Metal act born in East Hartford, Connecticut and Boston Massachusetts; formed in 2021, Drawing inspiration from the worlds of science fiction, and in particular, the story of the Ellimist, we aim to bring stories and music to the world that can be appreciated not only by fans within the metal genre, but to bridge musical boundaries and to make music that is interesting, diverse, and strange. And make dope-ass merchendise for ya! Ellimist aims to bring to life a universe of life, death, eternity, and destruction, telling the story of the Ellimist, a being beyond the very reaches of space and time itself, and other stories which feature original characters. Loosely based on the Ellimist's lore, our aim is to breathe new life into the progressive metal genre, and create science fiction offerings like no other.
Ellimist currently consists of Anthony, the creator, writer, and producer of the debut Ellimist album, playing guitar and singing. Newcomer Mike Fitts joins as rhythm guitarist. Ellimist explores a variety of concepts across different genres, all connected with a theme which maintains the storyline and artist’s premise. Ellimist has been compared as a mix of Dethklok, Devin Townsend, Gojira, and Revocation with elements of jazz and blues. Ellimist aims to create music, art, and galactic sized stories which entertain, inspire, and create a sense of wonder. Ellimist’s self-titled debut album was released 31/07/2021 and is available on all major streaming platforms, and through most online distributors. Physical merchandise is available now, including compact discs, pins, and stickers. More content and products will be available in the coming months as Ellimist finds their place in the new world of music through the end of 2021 and beyond!
